Storyteller in Residence
Throughout 2024 I am working with the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth as Storyteller in Residence, creating ‘Learning to Play’ a new piece of work exploring the significance of play and creativity for parents, carers and children. Influenced by the Brontë’s legacy and writing and my own experiences of motherhood as an artist, this work will delve into the ways storytelling and creativity can help navigate early parenthood.
See ‘Learning to Play’, an honest account or early motherhood reframed through storytelling an song.
